What Programs Does CARE Support?
Home and Community Care
Fully integrated with the Community Health and Immunization Program (CHIP)
CARE has improved the way we provide services and made it easy to record, access and track client information. It also provides timely information when clients move between Nations and require ongoing home care services. CARE is also easy for all our staff, including those with little exposure to computers. Nursing staff can easily capture stats as they chart, giving us excellent program data and saving hours of reporting frustration.

CARE is always moving forward with updates to become more comprehensive and improve client care. OKAKI provides excellent support and they also listen when I have a concern or problem, or even an idea to make it better.

The CARE program improved health care service delivery and patient continuity of care and made patient record keeping more efficient and practical for all members of our home care team. CARE also made it possible to case manage clients across multiple communities and remotely, without the frustrations of dealing with faxes and paper records.

CARE is the EMR system used for Stoney Health Services’ Home & Community Care Program. It is easy to use and auto-generates reports for Indigenous Services Canada reporting requirements, which has greatly increased staff productivity.
